Securing Our Services

A deposit of $500 or 1/3 of the estimated cost (whichever is less) must be received to secure Baker's Best Catering for your event. this will be applied to the total cost of the scheduled event. A valid credit card or a Direct Bill Agreement must also be on file. No charges will be applied to the card unless requested by the client of in the event payment in full is not received on or before the date of the event. If payment in full is not received within ten (10) days after the event,an interest charge of 18% will be applied to the full amount due.

Services Provided

Baker's Best Catering is a full service catering company serving all of the New River Valley and surrounding areas. We also have a 3,600 square foot conference facility with adjacent patio and gazebo - all available for business meetings, wedding receptions or virtually any private event. Please call 540-267-3337 for various facility rental fees.

Standard Service: Includes all disposable plates, cups, utensils, and paper napkins. The pricing reflected in the menus for all off-site catering functions includes Standard Service.

Full Service: Includes china, glassware, silverware and linen napkins. Full service for off-site catering is available for an additional $5.45 per person. Full Service is included in the menu pricing for all on-site catered functions. Tablecloths for eating tables are available for $7.00 per tablecloth.

Required Contract Information

Client Information: Group or client name, physical mailing address, phone number(s), booking contact name, and site contact name. Email and fax number if available.

Event Information: Date(s) of the event, time(s) of the event, venue name and address. An estimated number of attendees is required at the time of booking. Minimum guaranteed number of attendees must be received within 72 hours of the vent.

Contract Information: All event information including the menu selections, set-up requirements, and exact times must be finalized in a signed contract no less than 30 days prior to the event date.

Contract Revisions: No menu revisions can be considered less than five days prior to the event. No revisions to the number of guests can be made less than 72 hours prior to the event.

Payment Information

Direct Bill Clients: Direct Bill is available for government, corporate and local state agencies ONLY. A Direct Bill Agreement must be on file and approved by Baker's Best Catering. A 30 day maximum payment schedule applies to all qualified Direct Bill clients.

Non-Direct Bill Clients: Final payment is due on or before the scheduled event date. if the event value is $1,000 or more, a payment schedule is required and 50% of the total estimated cost is due 30 days prior to the event. Baker's Best accepts all major credit cards, checks, cash and PayPal.

Other Useful Information

Alcohol: Baker's Best Catering is fully licensed by the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control. We can provide bartenders to sell and serve beer, wine and liquor where allowed by Virginia State and Local ABC laws.

Tax and Service Charge: All food and beverage purchases are subject to 9% Sales Tax and 18% Service Charge. All pricing is subject to change based on the current market value. The Service Charge does not apply to pick-up orders.

Tipping/Gratuity: Baker's Best Catering does provide an hourly wage to our employees for set-up, service and clean-up of your event. Tipping/gratuity is appreciated by our wait staff, drivers, kitchen and bar staff.
